About Me
[vc_row el_class=”aboutme_content”][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Thanks for visiting. I’m Ashley Wali: a product leader, wife, mother, feminist, traveler. I grew up in software development, starting first in federal government consulting before moving into technology startups. Over the last 13 years, I have led teams that span product management, project management, engineering, design, research, and product marketing. I have a bias for action honed by my years in startups, where nothing is someone else’s job, and where learning by doing is the only way to learn.
The MOST IMPORTANT THING IN COMMUNICATION IS HEARING WHAT ISN’T SAID
– PETER DRUCKER
I’ve been featured on the Masters of Product Management podcast and in numerous publications including Product Management Insider, Modus, UX Collective, ProductCraft, and Product Coalition. I was honored to be included in Alpha’s 2019 Year in Review list of 20 top product leaders. I also speak at conferences, most recently the Women Impact Tech event in Seattle and the Project Product conference.
When I’m not working, you can find me running after my two rambunctious boys and exploring all the beauty that Seattle has to offer. I enjoy figure skating, reading, and traveling. I am an ISFJ and am never happier than with friends and family.
